Big story of the night

Posted: Thursday, May 03, 2007 9:14 PM by Hardball

(From NBC's Chuck Todd)

Big story of the night: Giuliani's tentative performance. This is almost a carbon copy of last week. The hot buzz candidate (Obama vs. Rudy) is struggling in their debut while the old reliables (Clinton vs. McCain) showed experience in this format matters.

Are you watching the same debate? McCain is just as bad if not worse then Rudy. Huckabee and Gilmore are the story here! You knew Romney would be good, but these other two are really impressive. Relaxed, informed and sincere.
I disagree, too. Giuliani was one of the winners, I thought. He didn't evade, as did most of the others from time to time. Huckabee shone, as did Duncan Hunter. McCain's forceful forcefulness didn't work. Romney - too evasive, but he looks good.
Does anyone know what Giuliani's definition of Sunni & Shia was. I was falling asleep but thought I heard him link the Shias with a caliphate.
