Mathews knows the media has been culpable in aiding and abetting the criminality of the Cheney Bush administration. He ignored their lawless behavior and exaggerated their meager accomplishments for six years. In essence he lied to the American people and have forfeited his right to be called honest journalists. He has been a stenographer. And he's' been one of the worst. His disgusting display of homo erotic glee at the president on that aircraft carrier with his shorts stuffed full of socks was the low point of a career that featured many low points. He can no longer appear every night and lie to the American public so he should resign effective immediately and give testimony to the complicity of the american news media in the criminal activities of this administration to any investigative body before which he is called. Keith Olbermann will take over his time slot on MSNBC starting tomorrow. He has more integrity in his little finger than Mathews has in my entire doughy body.
I enjoyed watching Matthews/Russert this morning on MSNBC.  But let me add, no matter however paranoid it may sound---- I truly believe the last 10  mins of the show were serverly censored and I for one did not appreciate that. Thx,Peg
