For me the question is clear, give me that seasoned veteran every time. She has been there before, knows policy, and as for her war stance (apology), damned if she does, damned if she doesn't. To nkm@fidalgo.net if that is all you can see regarding Hilary, you certainly don't understand the importance of the next election. You must lead a shallow life.

Hard to declare a winner in first debate...but I'll do it anyway

If we want the White House we have to have Bill Richardson. Although far from perfection, the wisdom and depth of several democratic candidates can hardly be contested. As much as many may not like Clinton personally, she has the internal grit, intelligence and ability to tackle the hardest of issues. There are no simple answers to the many multi-faceted problems we have today.

I don't understand all the people who say he lacks substance. Have you read his books? I honestly don't think that questioning his substance is apt. If you're going to question him, you may have a point with inexperience, but the bunch we have in power now were supposed to have all the experience, and look where that got us? I like Clinton, but she is way too institutionalized and beholden to big money donors. I like the ideas Edwards has, but he came off as way too scripted in 2004, and I'm afraid he will again. Richardson should have ran in 2004. He seems pretty good, but he is just getting overshadowed by the big names. In my opinion, Obama is in a class all by himself. I haven't seen anyone connect with people the way he has since Bobby Kennedy.

Hard to declare a winner in first debate...but I'll do it anyway

There will be one clear choice after tonight's debates.
