Mr. Moore's positions are unclear. First, he advocates a health care system that has been shown to be a failure. Next he wants to take profit out of the system. The entertainment industry is no different. People choose to view what they want. Should the government regulate that industry so Mr. Moore does not profit from his ventures? It's ironic Mr. Moore takes advantage of capitalism in his industry yet tries to foist the opposite on another?

Do we need to replay all the quotes from Democrats that were also convinced the pre-war intelligence indicated Iraq has WMDs? Why doesn't Mr. Moore direct his hatred towards these individuals?

I think most people are searching for meaningful, common sense answers to our problems. Michael Moore's opinions seem rooted in common sense and are fact based. His many detractors conversely seem to depend on ideology based arguments with few real facts to back up their opinions. Our country seems to be at a real tipping point (to disaster) caused by ideolgy based thinkers. Its time to get back to reality.

I loved the segment on Hardball with Michael Moore. He has a lot of courage to stand up for the American people. Some Americans are so off base...they actually question Michael as to WHY they should have Universal Health Care, Dental and Vision Care??? That is how far we have been brainwashed. The average know it all conservative feels everyone should take care of themselves...."Sicko" proves that even if you attempt to take care of yourself...the HMO's and the system works against you. Wake Up Americans....this wins my support John Conyers Bill HR 676 for Universal Health Care, Vision and Dental for ALL Americans. Like Michael Moore said.."What would Jesus do?" We have to learn that taking care of all of us is the best for everyone. The conservative line of taking care only of yourself is great if you have coverage...but not kind to your fellow man. If that is Ok with Rep Conservatives..then let them have that system...the rest of us want something complete and for ALL. I always thought that was what was great about America...the fact that we cared about people...not just profits. Let's prove it now. Thank you, Michael Mooore.

This was a great interview. I think the fundamental issue is getting our politicians and leaders to view health care for all people as a human right - not a benefit you might be lucky enough to get. Moore made this point in the interview. Mr. Moore may come across as one-sided to some, but if you've seen his movies, every frame is the truth. It has been a travisty for the people in Flint, MI., and nothing has improved. Mr. Moore was right on the money. Columbine was a tragedy of immessurable proportion, and yet guns are still readily available. Why is the NRA more powerful in this country than the loss of human lives? Why aren't we shaken to our very core to change the gun laws? The President has helped to make the United States a global laughing stock, and it saddens me to no end, that over 3600 Americans have died. As Malcolm X said, "We have been hoodwinked, we have been bamboozled." As far as Iraq is concerned, we were sold a bill of goods. Sad. Again, Mr. Moore has been right on. When I hear people vehimently criticize Mr. Moore, I wonder to myself, "what are they afraid of?" Thank you, Michael, for your continued diligence.

I'm all for universal healthcare, however, we cannot instantly have it! The hospitals, doctors etc. are already overburdened. We waited 8 hours for a heartattack patient to be admitted. Why? Many reasons were given ..all different, depending on who was asked. The solution is on the support staff and there just isn't enough even with our present system let alone the instant addition of 45 million more.

Moore shines the light on many of our societal problems with a harsh focus. He's right in so doing. He does a great job! However, many of the problems and the resulting injuries are self inflicted by that same societal group. How many of us have diversified portfolios with an interest in what we purpose to condemn? To the person who was crying about how much our taxes will be raised if we have universal health care. We are already paying for it. Ross Pero pointed out a decade ago that we are already paying Cadillac prices and getting less than Cuban service. This is how places like Walmart are getting over. Every time one of their employees goes to the emergency room with no health care coverage, we all pay for it. Still think that cheap Chinese made T-shirt is still a bargin.
It's the same thing with the illegal immigrant issue. When the employers don't pay, the rest of us do. Why not level the playing field and let some of these other people pay thier fair share?
