I am scared to death for him to be out speaking for the American people. I don't think he speaks for the majority of the people, but I am afraid of the harm or problems he will cause on our behalf. He probably went to demand things go HIS way.

Libby trial update, Bill Richardson, Mia Farrow and more

Governor Richardson's analysis of the Pakistani intelligence agency is enlightening. Because of his background, he is often seen as the "negotiations" candidate, but commentators usually forget to mention that Richardson's efforts have always occured with concommitant military strikes, right before or right after. In other words, like Theodore Roosevelt worked (speak softly, carry a big stick). It's like chewing gum and crossing the street at the same time, something most of our politicians don't seem able to do, or even understand. As far as I'm concerned, Richardson and Giuliani are the only candidates I'd bother to vote for. In their speeches, they praise the American people. The others I've heard speak of our nation or our government ..... but not the people.

Libby trial update, Bill Richardson, Mia Farrow and more

I'm tired of hearing about Libby. I know Chris Matthews was hoping that this trial would bring out even more information, truth and accountability on the part of this administration and Cheney. But it is not going to happen. Give Libby a one year sentence for lying (send him to serve as part of the Bagdad surge for 12 months, peeling potatos) and let's move on. Regarding Bill Richardson, what a chnage of topics and people from those above. Richardson appears to be too nice a guy to be running for President. I hate to see him throwing himself to the wolves as a candidiate. But just maybe there is not much the wolves can find on Bill. Naw...they will make up stuff if they have too. I still think he would make a great Secretary of State, or at least Vice President. Boy would that not be a switch from the one we have now.

Libby trial update, Bill Richardson, Mia Farrow and more

That's a step up for 43. Needless to say, that is the only direction in which he can move. For him to even bring himself to say that Congress may cut off funding has to be traumatic....to him. Hellfire....he may be coming to the realization that Congress has a function in our way of government. There might even be a dim spark of some realization that his title is President of the United States....not Georgius Maximus Americanus.

Libby trial update, Bill Richardson, Mia Farrow and more

Governor Richardson consistantly shows himself to be the best of the 2008 Democratic field. We are oil thieves. Bush, Cheney and Rice don't give a celestial hoot about spreading democracy, bull manure, sure, but democracy no. It's why they lie, sign secret signing statements, spy on every librul in America and read your bank statements and email. I think they're insane. They're so paranoid they have turned America into this madhouse where everyone must be on guard every second or a Islamist or a pedofile or an Avian Flu might snatch your last semblance of sanity. It's all manufactured, all orchestrated, all created for your viewing pleasure to control 300 million minions while Bush and his gang steal Iraq's oil. Of course there are terrorists who want to kill us and we need to kill them. But Bush went to Iraq with Dick for the oil and everyone on the planet knows it and thinks it sucks except Republicans who hide tax breaks in war appropriations bills and the Homeland Security Act, let the army go home and then run around with the flag talking about security and patriotism. What a bunch of losers.
